Libby graduated from the University of South Australia with a B.App Sc (OT) in 2009. She began her Occupational Therapy career in the field of paediatrics but in 2013 she decided to pursue her particular interest in hand and upper limb rehabilitation. Libby now has a special interest in finger injuries and in the post-operative care that must follow hand and upper limb surgery. Libby utilizes a client-centered approach when working with her patients, ensuring that all areas of occupation are considered. She has undertaken further training in advanced hand trauma, dynamic splinting, wrist injury management, and also in chronic pain management.
Libby is an AHTA Associate Member, and attends SA Hand Therapy Divisional meetings regularly. She believes these meetings are a valuable opportunity for further learning and to share positive or challenging clinical experiences.
